Tour Details

The tour starts from Piraeus Port when the Cruise ship arrives. Our tour guide will be holding a Parthenon Tours sign and he will be standing near our luxury vehicle. Our driver will take you through some of the most vibrant suburbs of Athens (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Voula) and make a stop at lake Vouliagmeni where you will have the chance to rest, enjoy snacks and beverages, and capture magnificent photos of the lake. We will resume our trip to Cape Sounio via the famous coastal road that features several viewpoints with an excellent view of the Aegean Sea. At the end of the coastal road, lies the Temple of Poseidon within a fort that protects the coast of Attica.  The temple, dedicated to Poseidon the Olympian God of the sea, was erected in the 5th century BC and is made entirely of white marble. The location offers one of the most beautiful views in the world. On a sunny summer day, you can see several islands such as Kea, Kythnos and Serifos at the southeast, and Aegina and the Peloponnese at the west. During the visit our guide will provide you with all the necessary information concerning the history and importance of the Temple. After our visit, we will head back to the coastal road for a swim and lunch. You will have the chance to enjoy Greek traditional dishes and swim in one of the most beautiful beaches of Attica. Then we will head back to Piraeus Port and our van will take you near your cruise ship. At the end of the tour our guide will provide an Athens metro and attractions map and a Parthenon Tours souvenir.
